Asus Slim Power Jack ROG Strix Zephyrus G14/G16/G18 2024-2025

Since 2024, several new ASUS laptops have switched from the traditional round-barrel DC jack to a Mini Port power connector (aka the Slim Power Jack by Asus). These newer connectors are not compatible with 2023-and-earlier ASUS models that still use the round barrel.

Our SlimQ Mini-Port connector tip (or short cable) supports charging up to 280 W, covering all current Zephyrus G14, G16, and selected G18 models equipped with 40-series or 50-series GPUs.

How to Confirm Compatibility

1. Connector Shape – Make sure your laptop’s adapter port matches the flat, rectangular Mini Port (not the older round barrel).

2. Power Rating – Check the wattage on your original ASUS charger. SlimQ’s Mini-Port tip supports adapters ≤ 280 W.
