This is 2nd generation product that can turn any DC input 5V-24V into a full PD 3.0 USB C output. This works perfectly with SlimQ F150/F240/F330 gaming laptop chargers. It also works for 12V DC output from a car cigarette lighter or battery, as long as you are using a standard 5.5x2.5mm power connector
The unique feature of this extender is that it has a voltage boost. For example, if your DC input is 12V, it can still boost the voltage to support 20V in PD 3.0 standard.
Rated Input Voltage:
DC 5V-24V. If the input voltage exceeds 24V, the device may be damaged, leading to malfunction. Please ensure the input voltage does not exceed 24V before use.
The input uses a standard 5525 plug with a 2.5mm center pin, 6mm socket diameter, and 7mm insertion depth. Maximum input current is 12A. The center pin is positive, and the outer casing is negative.
When the input voltage exceeds 21V, the device can output any PD voltage.
Rated Output Current:
Single USB-C Port (PD Mode): Max 100W Single USB-A Port (QC Mode): Max 30W
USB-C Output:
5V 3.0A
9V 3.0A
12V 3.0A
15V 3.0A
20V 5.0A
USB-A Output:
5V 3.0A
9V 3.0A
12V 2.5A
Note: When both USB-A ports are working simultaneously, fast charging is not available, and the output is limited to 5V. Each port has a maximum output of 5V 3A.
Rated Power:
1. Full Power Operation:
When the total input power from the DC power supply exceeds 230W and the output voltage is higher than 21V, all output ports can operate under full load.
Each USB-C port can independently output 100W.
The two USB-A ports share a maximum total output of 30W, meaning both USB-A ports combined will not exceed 30W at any time.
Note: During prolonged use at full power, ensure proper heat dissipation to avoid burns from the hot surface.
2. Limited Power Operation:
When the total input power from the DC power supply is less than 230W (e.g., using lower-power adapters), ensure that the total power consumption of connected devices is less than the available input power.
Example: If both USB-C ports are powering two devices, each requiring 50W, the total consumption will be 100W. The external DC power supply must provide at least 105W (1.05 times the required power). If the input power is insufficient, the external DC power supply may not function properly, causing power protection issues or other malfunctions.
These are without a doubt the best DC Chargers money can buy. I use a large DIY battery bank for jump starting vehicles, it will eat 100w all day. I kept melting other brands and found this, 2yrs of abuse and it is still running. They do get quite hot during high wattage runs. But I just keep it on my dash with some airflow and it doesn't seem to mind.
Store owner replied:
The charging hub was designed to work with SlimQ 330W/240W/150W chargers and they already come with DC cables. Didn't think people would use it without our chargers. Good suggestion though and we will definitely consider this. Regards.
Love that I can used this for my older SlimQ charger (F240).
The only hiccup I had was the courier that took quite sometimes to reach. If the last mile courier is Quantium Solutions (https://track.quantiumsolutions.com/), I would advise to check the tracking from Morning Global (https://www.morninglobal.com/trace-track/) using the same tracking number. Morning Global status make more senses !!!!
I purchased these for a prototype project. The units are built well, Are really small and offer more than any other similar sized board on the market. Service and shipping was fast and I have no complaints. I even accidentally put 36V into it whilst testing. No power came from it at the time, so I was worried I had broken it. As soon as i Put it on a 24V source, it powered up and happily carried on working. I am impressed...
An excellent all around unit. Many uses from using it with the 150-330W DC chargers for additional USB-C PD ports to direct 12VDC car power or even being able to use existing 3rd party battery packs to power PD items in emergencies. I use these to power communications equipment. Having many M18 batteries, and many of these USB extenders has been a big help. I would highly recommend them for all sorts of uses thinking outside the box.
This is fantastic extension for your 240/330V power supplies giving 4 additional options to connect more devices. Especially if you add visible on photo volt/current meters.
This is so versatile! Put in any DC source from 5-24V, and out comes 2 PD 100W and 2 USB A. No annoying lights, no humming, only pure silence. The only way you know it is working is that your devices are charging.
I use this for my car camping set up and like it so much I bought a second for my emergency kit. Communications is an essential these days.
Thanks SLIMQ for making such a wonderful product, and making it so affordable. It’s beautifully designed and executed!
Very valuable to use. type c combined with type to dc converter (round type) can turn any single 1-2 port type c charger into more usb and type c port and more convenient. the weak point is that it doesn't seem to support too small usb charging currents below 0.5w. But after all, it's still very useful
I got slimq 240w in my previous purchase and I come across this cool
Add on which and boost my charging port while I am travelling. Now I only bring slimq and this add on during my trip. Thanks team for creating this cool stuff
Delivery came pretty fast and actual item size is a lot smaller than I’d expected so I’m pretty happy with all that. The added flexibility in having USB A outlets makes the 150W charger a lot more useful now and adds another good use of the long charge cable when not used for charging the laptop. Just wished it was available when I was buying the charger unit to save on paying for the not so cheap postage again as a separate order after.
The cable did not come with it... I have asked where to purchase the power cable but no reply...! Therefore is just like wasting time ... do update where to get the cable...!!
