Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the ASUS Mini Port (Slim Power Jack)?
A: Starting in 2024, many new ASUS laptops (including ROG Zephyrus G14, G16, G18, TUF F16, A14, A16, and ProArt series) switched from the older round barrel DC jack to a new flat rectangular connector called the Mini Port or Slim Power Jack. This adapter bridges that connector to a standard 5.5x2.5mm DC charger output.
Q: Which variant should I choose – Cable, Tip, or L-shaped?
A: The Tip Connector is the most compact option, plugging directly into your laptop with no cable. The Cable Connector adds a short cable for more flexibility. The L-shaped Connector is ideal if your laptop’s port faces a wall or tight space, reducing cable strain.
Q: Which SlimQ chargers work with this adapter?
A: This adapter is compatible with SlimQ 240W, 330W, and upcoming 500W DC GaN chargers that feature a standard 5.5x2.5mm DC output port.
Note: This compatibility list will expand as ASUS releases additional Mini-Port devices. If your model isn’t shown but meets the connector and wattage criteria, our adapter is very likely compatible.

Even the adapter is better than the OEM plug. It's a lot more bendable which puts less stress on the laptop connector when the cord doesn't stick straight out.
The SlimQ G14 cable connector is exactly what I needed for my portable setup. It converts the SlimQ 150 W charger into a fully compatible power source for my Asus ROG Flow Z13, which solves the usual problem of carrying the bulky stock charger. It’s well-built, fits securely, and works perfectly with full passthrough. My exact model is the Asus ROG Flow Z13 64 GB (2025) GZ302EA-XS98.
If you want a lightweight, travel-friendly charging solution for a G14 or Z13, get this adapter and the 150 W SlimQ charger.
This cable connector is the key piece that makes it all possible.
IMPORTANT: If you have a Z13, and you're going to buy the SlimQ 150 W charger, when selecting this item, make sure you buy the cable connector, and not the tip connector, as it's more rigid. The cable connector more flexible, and as such, does not put extra stress on your Z13 power port (if you hit it by mistake).
Highly recommended!
Just what I needed for my Asus Z13 (2025). The flex tail also reduces the strain on the connection and allows me to input more than the capped USB-C 100W to the machine. Excellent buy.
Only question/improvemnet would be, can they do it in an "L" shaped or 90 degree format so the cable drops down as opposed to out and then drop down. Would fuerther reduce possible strain and would also neaten up the port usage.
Was shipped and delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and is exactly as described. For me it is the cable adaptor solution for using an older Asus ROG power supply with my new Asus ProArt laptop.
